Preston Community Center. Built in 1938 as part of the Works Progress Administration, this river-rock faced, historic log building features an expansive multi-purpose room with a raised stage, a separate meeting room for food service, a full-service kitchen, two fireplaces, tables and chairs for 125 people, and a "bride ready" room with a private restroom upstairs. A small park surrounds the center and features a peeled-log Amish gazebo and a "wedding court" with several outdoor table/chairs sets. This is a beautiful setting for an indoor or outdoor wedding site and is offered at a reasonable price. In 2008, the Preston Community Center was added to Washington State's Heritage Register.
